Scuba Unlimited is now a PADI 5 Star IDC Center - This means we are able to conduct all PADI professional and non-professional courses.  We will be holding a PADI Open Water Instructor Course coming in Spring 2008.  We are currently conducting instructor level PADI Specialty courses now.  Call for more information.

 

 DIVE WITH US! – Scuba Unlimited will be holding our last DIVE WITH US! weekend of the summer.  We will be heading out to Blue Springs for a weekend of diving, education and fun.  We will have additional staff on hand for this event.  Come to gain additional experience through specialty courses or just to hang out to dive and talk diving.  Sept 15/16.

 

Discover TecRec - If you are thinking about technical diving but aren't sure, DSAT Discover Tec lets you try technical diving equipment and procedures. Discover Tec experiences can also credit towards the DSAT Apprentice Tec Diver or Tec Deep Diver courses.  Oct 25th.

 

Open Water Certification Weekends – Our last weekends are starting to fill.  If you need to complete your certification dives, please call the store to schedule your dives.  We hold 2 dives on Saturday and 2 dives on Sunday.  This will complete your PADI Open Water certification and start a lifetime of diving.

Fiji 2008 - November 8 - 22, 2008

Join Fred and Scuba Unlimited as we travel across the Pacific to the islands of Fiji. We will first be traveling to the Beqa Lagoon Resort, off the island of Viti Levu. We will be spending 5 nights here before transferring to the Fiji Aggressor live aboard boat. Here you will be able to spend 7 nights following the Aggressor motto of “Eat, Sleep, Dive”. Trip originates in Los Angeles and included airfare is roundtrip from LAX. Trip also includes 5 nights at Beqa Lagoon, 3 meals daily at resort, 7 nights on Fiji Aggressor, meals and drinks on board and transfers in Fiji.

Building on the success of the original Nemo, the Nemo Excel is a natural evolution using upgraded components for a tougher computer with a more technical look. A larger segmented display and flat, recessed mineral glass provides improved contrast at wider viewing angles. The non-reflective mineral glass is scratch resistant, shock proof and tempered for better durability and visibility in all conditions. Large textured buttons make Nemo Excel's 4-button intuitive menu operation even easier than its predecessor. A pre-shaped ergonomic strap allows the Nemo Excel to fit more comfortably on the wrist.

Nemo Excel has 4 Dive Modes: Air, Nitrox, Bottom Timer and special Free Dive functions. Equipped with the most advanced RGBM Mares-Wienke algorithm, considerably lowering the risks associated with the formation of micro-bubbles by introducing deep stops. An active, timer-controlled display light is easily turned on by the pressing of a single button. Strap extension is included. Watch functions include dual time zones, alarm clock function, stop watch and calendar.
